We decided to put barn doors in our basement on all of the door openings and originally we were going to put raw, reclaimed wood but it's not going to go well with the floor we chose. I'm really loving some of these other options for colour.

    Oh, I'm so jealous! I'd love a door like that in our place (I was going to say "doors" but then I realized we only have one - the bathroom door). And what a great find on those chairs. I admire you for even saying you're going to reupholster them. Wow.

    Great door pics!! Love the barn door idea for the basement... Really like the style of the yellow door (great clean modern take on the rustic barn door style) and love the black, rustic hardware on the blue doors! Not sure which colour I like the best though, so many great choices!
